Riot Games to Launch VALORANT Champions Tour 2023: LOCK//IN São Paulo Capsule

Riot Games has unveiled a new in-game capsule that will be released to support VALORANT Champions Tour 2023: LOCK//IN São Paulo. The capsule collection will be limited edition and will allow fans to choose their supported region. It is reported that from February 8 to March 7, half of the net proceeds from the collection will be distributed among VCT partner teams.

The capsule will include four varieties of the "Mercy" knife, which are tied to individual regions:

  • VCT Americas (Green variant)
  • VCT Pacific (blue color variant)
  • VCT EMEA (purple color variant)
  • VALORANT Champions Tour (Red color variant)

The updated "Mercy" knife will have an animation similar to the Xenohunter, with a distinct glow in the middle of the blade. The weapon looks identical to a stiletto knife with a thin body and a sharp blade.

The set will also include cards that also symbolize the regions represented:

  • VCT Americas 2023 Map (Green Variant)
  • VCT Pacific map (blue color variant)
  • VCT EMEA card (purple color option)

In addition, players will receive a special graffiti featuring Raze

VALORANT Champions Tour 2023: LOCK//IN São Paulo will take place from February 13 to March 4 in Sao Paulo at Ginásio do Ibirapuera. As part of the championship, 32 teams from China, Europe, Asia and America will compete for an unannounced prize pool.

  • 1st place: $100,000
  • 2nd place: $60,000
  • 3rd-4th place: $40,000
  • 5th-8th place: $25,000
  • 9th-16th place: $10,000
