The LOUD team outplayed DRX with a score of 2:0, thanks to which they made it to the finals of the upper bracket of VALORANT Champions 2022. Here, the Brazilian team will play with the winner of the next semi-final. In turn, the representatives of South Korea fell into the second round of the lower bracket, where they will meet with Fnatic.

The first semi-final of the game day started on the Breeze map, which turned out to be the choice of the Brazilian team. However, the match initially did not go in favor of LOUD, as the representatives of South Korea showed a confident start and gained a comfortable advantage over the side switching — 9:3. However, in the second half the situation changed dramatically, as now it was the Brazilians who began to dictate their terms. In turn, DRX did not come up with anything for defense, thus allowing LOUD to take the lead in the series - 13:11.

Next, the teams moved to the Haven map, which became the DRX's choice. Here, the South Korean team could not recover from an unfortunate oversight on the first map, having received a twofold backlog in the first half — 8:4. After switching sides, DRX failed to return to the game, while LOUD quickly got the necessary rounds and got the final victory in the series - 13:6.

VALORANT Champions 2022 takes place from August 31 to September 18 in Istanbul at the Volkswagen Arena. As part of the championship, sixteen teams from Europe, North and South America, Brazil, South Korea, Japan, China and Southeast Asia are fighting for a total prize pool of $1,000,000.
