The FunPlus Phoenix team outplayed KRÜ Esports with a score of 2:0, thanks to which they made it to the playoffs of VALORANT Champions 2022. In turn, the Chilean team finishes their performance in the championship, taking 9-12th place and earning $25,000.

The first match of the final day of the group stage started on the Icebox map, which became the choice of the Chilean team. At the same time, the first half was held in an equal fight, albeit with a minimal margin in favor of FunPlus Phoenix — 7:5. However, after switching sides, the wards of d00mbr0s managed to find their game, thanks to which they confidently crushed the opponent and took the lead in the series — 13:9.

Next, the teams moved to the map Ascent, which became the choice of FunPlus Phoenix. Here, the struggle turned out to be much less, since the European team played excellently for the attack and secured a comfortable head start - 9:3. After the switch of sides, the KRÜ Esports players did not bother to wake up, thus allowing FunPlus Phoenix to quickly close the series and guarantee themselves participation in the championship playoffs — 13:4.

In the quarterfinals of the tournament, the European team will play with DRX - the Japanese became the best in group D, where they outplayed FURIA Esports (2:0) and 100 Thieves (2:0).
