Riot Games unveiled the Battle Pass for Valorant
The developers of Valorant announced that the Battle Pass will appear in the game, dedicated to the VALORANT Champions Tour 2022. It will be held under the slogan “Watch, play and earn during the Champions Tour 2022”.
If you watch the official matches of the professional scene on Valorant from August 31 to September 18, then users will be able to receive various rewards and earn some in-game items. The most notable of them are the butterfly knife, trophy card, graffiti, champion auras, custom shooting sound, and more.
The champion's aura will evolve as the player's performance improves over the course of the match and will change for every 5 kills made. The new Butterfly Knife will also have a unique visual effect that changes after 25 kills, and the new Butterfly Knife will have an Easter Egg on it. Which one? We'll find out later.
From August 23 to September 21, users will be able to purchase collections, 50% of which will go to participants in the VALORANT Champions Tour 2022.
In order to receive chests that drop while watching VALORANT Champions Tour 2022 matches, users need to link their YouTube or Twitch account, depending on where they watch streams, to their Valorant account.
Between August 31st and September 13th, users will be able to try their luck and get the Fire title for the Player Card by watching matches. Users can earn the 2022 VCT Champions Curse spray by being active between September 16th and 17th, and they can earn the 2022 VCT Champions Hero Card on September 18th during the final match.
As for other in-game bonuses, players will be able to play matches and complete the Battle Pass quest for VALORANT Champions Tour 2022. This way, they can reach seven levels and receive corresponding rewards.

Valorant developers will modify some cards and make the design in the style of the Champions Tour.
VALORANT Champions Tour 2022 runs from August 31 to September 18. The total prize pool of the Valorant World Championship has not yet been announced. The teams will start their journey from the group stage, where they will fight in Bo3 matches. 16 participants are divided into 4 groups of 4 teams in each of them. From each quartet, 2 best teams will advance to the playoffs, which will continue their way in the double-elimination bracket. All matches there, with the exception of the grand final, will be held in the Bo3 format. The final match will be held in a series of up to 3 wins.
