VCT 2022: Stage 2 Masters to be held in Copenhagen, VALORANT Champions 2022 in Istanbul

Rioy Games has revealed the venues for VCT 2022: Stage 2 Masters and VALORANT Champions 2022, the two remaining international championships on the VALORANT season roadmap. While Copenhagen will host the second and final Masters, the final tournament of the season will take place in Istanbul, Turkey.

Our goal is to see the biggest international events in front of a live audience and both of these cities have provided clear paths to that goal as well as providing the best guarantee that all qualified teams can safely attend and compete. We are happy to share the first details of these two events and will provide more information in the coming weeks.

Both championships are expected to be played in front of a live audience, if the health situation permits.

VCT 2022: Stage 2 Masters will take place from 10 to 24 July in Copenhagen. Twelve teams from all over the world will take part in the championship.

Slot allocation for VCT 2022: Stage 2 Masters:

• North America - 2.
• Brazil - 1.
• Brazil/Latin America - 1.
• Latin America - 1.
• EMEA (Europe, CIS and Turkey) - 3.
• Korea - 1.
• Japan - 1.
• South Asia + Oceania - 1.

In turn, VALORANT Champions 2022 will be held from September 2 to 18 in Istanbul. Sixteen teams from all over the world will take part in the tournament. Note that additional qualifying championships will take place in August for the regions: EMEA, North America, Brazil + Latin America, Korea + Japan, South Asia + Oceania.

• North America - 2 (+1 Last Chance Qualifiers).
• Brazil + Latin America - 1 (+2 Last Chance Qualifiers).
• EMEA (Europe, CIS and Turkey) - 2 (+1 Last Chance Qualifiers).
• Korea + Japan - 2 (+1 Last Chance Qualifiers).
• South Asia + Oceania - 2 (+1 Last Chance Qualifiers).
