Anonymo Esports became the champion of VALORANT Regional Leagues 2022 East: Surge Stage 1

VALORANT Regional Leagues 2022 East: Surge Stage 1 has come to an end. At the championship, which was held online from February 16 to March 19, eight teams from Eastern Europe fought for a prize pool of €20,000, as well as a ticket to the VALORANT Champions Tour 2022: EMEA Challengers Promotion. The winner of the tournament was the Anonymo Esports team, which beat AWARIA 3:2 in the grand final (Split - 13:10; Fracture - 11:13; Bind - 4:13; Breeze - 13:3; Icebox - 13:9).

The tournament for the future winner began with a difficult group stage, during which Anonymo Esports won four victories, and also lost to AWARIA (1:2), Anorthosis Famagusta Esports (0:2) and NOM eSports (0:2).

Nevertheless, the Polish team managed to make it to the playoffs, where they sensationally outplayed NOM eSports (2:1) in the semifinals. However, already in the final of the upper bracket, the team lost to AWARIA (0:2), thus falling into the lower bracket. Here Anonymo Esports defeated Anorthosis Esports (2:0) and made it to the grand final of the competition.

In the decisive confrontation, the team managed to turn the tide of the match by making a comeback from a score of 1:2. As a result, Anonymo Esports outplayed AWARIA (3:2) and got a ticket to VALORANT Champions Tour 2022: EMEA Challengers Promotion.

  • 3rd place: Anorthosis Famagusta Esports - €2,800

  • 6th place: Team Finest - €600.
  • 7th place: Gamerland - €500.
  • 8th place: KTRL - €400.
