Vision Strikers, Team Vikings and Fnatic started victoriously at VALORANT Champions 2021

The first game day at VALORANT Champions 2021 has come to an end, following which Vision Strikers, Team Vikings and Fnatic have won their first championship victories. At the same time, FULL SENSE, Crazy Raccoon and Cloud9 Blue have already experienced the bitterness of defeat.

Vision Strikers - FULL SENSE

The game day was opened by a meeting between two Asian teams. The Vision Strikers players immediately showed a very confident attack on Haven, effectively prejudging the fate of the opponent's pick. Of course, the South Korean team very easily closed the second half, having issued a defeat - 13: 5.

On the Breeze map, the game played out in an identical scenario, as Vision Strikers showed a strong attack again, while FULL SENSE did not come up with anything after switching sides - 13: 5.

Team Vikings - Crazy Raccoon

In the second fight, there was a little more struggle, but still the Brazilians looked much more savvy in relation to the opponent. The meeting started on the Icebox map, which became the choice of the Japanese team. However, Team Vikings showed two confident halves, thereby recording the victory at the opponent's pick - 13: 9.

Then the teams moved to the Haven map, where the first half ended in parity. However, the Brazilian team changed in attack, thereby gaining the first victory in the championship - 13: 8.

Fnatic - Cloud9

The main match of the day had to be left late in the evening. However, the fight was worth it, as the teams showed an equal fight, not yielding to each other in every macro. As a result of this confrontation, the teams exchanged their own picks, hitting the desider.

The Fracture card also gave the audience an uncompromising struggle, as a result of which the teams went to overtime. Nevertheless, the European team managed to achieve their goal, showing two confident halves in order to get three points and become the leaders of the group.
