The group stage of the Rocket League Championship Series 2021-22 - World Championship has ended, according to the results of which only eight teams continued their fight within the championship. In turn, eight other teams left the competition, having failed to compete for victory at the final event of the season.
Note that the Rocket League Championship Series 2021-22 - World Championship playoffs will feature teams from the following regions: North America (4 participants), Europe (3 participants) and Latin America (1 participant).
The Rocket League Championship Series 2021-22 - World Championship playoffs will offer the remaining teams a classic single elimination bracket with BO7 matches.
Group A
The first playoff participant from group A was the European team Moist Esports, which defeated Spacestation Gaming (4:2) and SMPR Esports (4:0) on its way. At the same time, Team BDS beat Renegades (4:1) and Version1 (4:0), also making it to the next stage of the competition.
Version1 and The General NRG made their way through the lower bracket to the playoffs, defeating Spacestation Gaming (4:2) and SMPR Esports (4:1), respectively, on the final day of the group stage.
Group B
In the first rows from group B, the G2 Esports team made its way further, which managed to cope with OpTic Gaming (4:0) and FURIA (4:2). The FaZe Clan team also passed through the upper bracket in the playoffs, leaving The Club (4:2) and Team Falcons (4:0) out of work.
