Getting ready for the start of Asia-Pacific League 2022 - South Division - Stage 1
/Today, March 17, Asia-Pacific League 2022 - South Division - Stage 1 will begin - the first major event in the new season for teams from South Asia. Up until April 14, eight teams will compete for a prize pool of $41,000. In addition, the participants of the competition will compete for four tickets to the playoffs of the Asia-Pacific League 2022. Format of Asia-Pacific League 2022 - South Division - Stage 1
The tournament will be held in a round-robin format, during which each team will play seven meetings in the BO1 format. The four best teams will receive tickets to the playoffs of Asia-Pacific League 2022, while the remaining four teams will go to Stage 2.
Scoring Rules:
- Win in regular time - 3 points.
- Overtime win - 2 points.
- Loss in overtime - 1 point.
- Defeat in regular time - 0 points.
Prize pool distribution
- 1st place: $15,000 + place in Asia-Pacific League 2022 playoffs.
- 2nd place: $7,000 + place in Asia-Pacific League 2022 playoffs.
- 3rd place: $5,000 + place in Asia-Pacific League 2022 playoffs.
- 4th place: $4,500 + place in Asia-Pacific League 2022 playoffs.
