TSM became the winner of the Six Invitational 2022

The Six Invitational 2022 has come to an end. At the championship, which was held from February 8 to February 20 in Stockholm, 20 teams from all over the world fought for a prize pool of $3,000,000. The winner of the tournament was the TSM team, which in the grand final was stronger than Team Empire with a score of 3:1 (Clubhouse - 8:6; Kafe Dostoyevsky - 7:3; Oregon - 6:8; Villa - 9:7).

The tournament for the future winner started from a difficult group stage, during which the North American team outplayed FURIA Esports (2:0) and Team BDS (2:0), but at the same time failed to cope with DarkZero Esports (1:2) and Elevate (0:2). Nevertheless, TSM managed to make it to the playoffs, taking the final place in their group.

Here the team managed to transform, quickly overcoming Ninjas in Pajamas (2:0), FURIA Esports (2:1) and Team Liquid (2:1), making it to the upper bracket final. However, at this stage, TSM failed to cope with Team Empire (1:2), after which it went to the lower bracket. Fortunately, here the North Americans outplayed FaZe Clan (2:0), thus getting a chance for revenge.

In the decisive match, TSM immediately seized the initiative, managing to get a comfortable advantage. Despite the defeat on the Oregon map, the North American team managed to pull themselves together and close the series in their favor, gaining a hard-fought victory over Team Empire.

Note that the MVP of the tournament was Achieved, who also plays for TSM.
