Six Invitational 2022: TSM and Team Empire made it to the final of the upper bracket
/Another gaming day of the Six Invitational 2022 has come to an end, following which the teams TSM and Team Empire made it to the final of the upper bracket of the championship. At the same time, the teams Oxygen Esports and DarkZero lost to MIBR and FaZe Clan, respectively, thus saying goodbye to their dreams of winning the tournament.
The game day began with two semi-finals, in the first of which TSM beat Team Liquid (2:0) in a tense struggle. At the same time, both maps went through in the maximum fight, where the Brazilians were only a little unlucky. Following them, Team Empire managed to crush the North American team Soniqs (2:1). At the same time, the Russians, having lost the first map of Coastline, equalized the score with some problems, and then defeated the opponent on the Villa map.
In the evening we watched two confrontations in the third round of the lower bracket. In the first of them, the Brazilians from MIBR very easily outplayed Oxygen Esports (2:0), giving up only four rounds for two maps. Well, in the final confrontation of the gaming day, FaZe Clan turned out to be stronger than the North Americans from DarkZero (2:0), thus making it to the semi-finals of the lower bracket.
Today, February 17, the Six Invitational 2022 will take a rest day. However, the semi-finals of the lower bracket will be held tomorrow, following which two more teams will leave the championship.
