/The first day of the playoffs of the Six Invitational 2022 has come to an end, as a result of which Team Liquid, TSM, Team Empire and Soniqs have advanced to the semi-finals of the championship. At the same time, FaZe Clan, FURIA, Spacestation Gaming and DAMWON Gaming have been relegated to the second round of the lower bracket, where they will play their matches with the winners of the first round.
Semi-final battles were opened by two meetings. In the first of them, Team Liquid quite confidently dealt with their compatriots from FaZe Clan (2:0), practically not letting the opponent in on any of the maps. At the same time, the North American team TSM managed to outplay another Brazilian from FURIA (2:1), confidently closing the series on the decisive Oregon map.
In the second portion of the semi-finals, Team Empire beat the North American team Spacestation Gaming (2:0) without any hassle. At the same time, Soniqs created a real sensation, having managed to outplay the South Korean team DAMWON Gaming (2:0).
After these defeats, the teams FaZe Clan, FURIA, Spacestation Gaming and DAMWON Gaming fell into the lower bracket of the championship, where they will continue to fight for a place in the Grand Finals of the Six Invitational 2022. order above.
