FaZe Clan, TSM, Spacestation Gaming and Soniqs advanced to the quarterfinals of the Six Invitational 2022
Teams FaZe Clan, TSM, Spacestation Gaming and Soniqs outplayed Oxygen Esports (2:0), Ninjas in Pajamas (2:0), NAVI (2:1) and Elevate (2:1) respectively, thanks to which they advanced to the quarterfinals of the Six Invitational 2022. At the same time, the teams that lost in the first round of the upper bracket went to conquer the lower part of the tournament bracket.
Two meetings opened the first day of the playoffs of the Six Invitational 2022. However, the audience did not see the fight as such, since FaZe Clan and TSM confidently coped with Oxygen Esports (2:0) and Ninjas in Pajamas (2:0), respectively, having won their tickets to the quarterfinals of the event.
In the second portion of the confrontations, there was much more intrigue, since none of the teams wanted to give up the result. And yet, the North American teams Spacestation Gaming and Soniqs managed to get laborious victories over NAVI (2:1) and Elevate (2:1), thus making it to the 1/4 finals of the competition.
After these defeats, the teams Oxygen Esports, Ninjas in Pajamas, NAVI and Elevate fell into the lower bracket of the championship, where they will continue to fight for a place in the Grand Finals of the Six Invitational 2022. However, from now on, the teams have no right to make a mistake, which will stop the interest in decisive matches order above.
Recall that following the results of the group stage, four teams left the championship: SANDBOX Gaming, Team BDS, Team oNe eSports and CYCLOPS athlete gaming.
