Team Liquid and FURIA Esports reached the quarterfinals of the Six Invitational 2022

The group stage of the Six Invitational 2022 has ended, following which Team Liquid and FURIA Esports reached the quarterfinals of the tournament, becoming the best teams in their quintets. At the same time, CYCLOPS athlete gaming and Team BDS finished their way to the championship, being among the worst in the group stage.

Group B

Team Liquid missed the final day of the Six Invitational 2022 group stage, which did not prevent the team from holding the lead in their quintet. At the same time, Spacestation Gaming got a confident victory over Rogue (2:0), thus breaking into the second line of the tournament table. The third place in group B went to the Brazilian team FaZe Clan, which with great difficulty beat CYCLOPS athlete gaming (2:1).

Despite the point, the Japanese team failed to climb up the table and left the championship. Fourth place went to Rogue, who kept afloat thanks to a single victory over CYCLOPS athlete gaming in the second round.

Match MVP awards went to Astro and Bosco from FaZe Clan and Spacestation Gaming, respectively. Note that this is the second individual award for the Brazilian esportsman.

Group C

According to the results of the group stage, the leader of group C was the FURIA Esports team, which on the final game day managed to snatch a victory from DarkZero Esports (2:1). At the same time, Elevate got a sensational victory over TSM (2:0), thanks to which it rose to the second line of the standings.

The worst team of the quintet was Team BDS, which, following the results of the fourth day, lost its theoretical chances to rise higher. According to the results of the Six Invitational 2022, the French team took 17th-20th place, earning $35,000.

Match MVP awards went to sprOnigiri and R4re from Elevate and FURIA Esports, respectively.

The Six Invitational 2022 takes place from 8 to 20 February at the Stockholmsmässan Exhibition Center in Stockholm. Twenty teams compete for a prize pool of $3,000,000, while the winner will get $1,000,000.
