Josh 'Jatt' Lisman, Team Liquid's mentor, gave an interview with Travis Gafford, in which he spoke about the fate of the toplainer Barney 'Alphari' Morris. The latter is likely to miss the American League of Legends summer championship. The mentor asked the fans of the club not to worry about this, since the decision was not made spontaneously, but rather deliberately. It took a month to think about leaving the toplainer and the management of the organization weighed all the pros and cons of such a decision. The management did not specify how much Alphari will sit on the bench.

The LCS Summer Split 2021 league started on June 5th. The only match in which Alphari played, ended in defeat for Liquid. The team lost against TSM, and Barney Morris played Lee Sin with a score of 2/3/8. This result was the last straw in the patience of the club's management, and they decided to send Morris to the reserve and take in his place a toplainer of the youth squad to perform in the next match. Barney, by the way, does not agree with the coach's words and said on his Twitter account that the degree of preparation for such a decision can be compared with a spontaneous ordering of food delivery.

Updated roster for Team Liquid
