First Stand 2026 Group Stage: LYON Snatch a Hard-Fought 3-2 Victory Over LOUD

The first map passed under the complete control of LYON and generally without any intrigue. All objectives and dragons were for LYON, and they managed to finish the map in 28 minutes with a gold lead of 16 thousand. Great play from the entire team, a good draft, confidence in their actions - 1:0 for LYON.
The second map went to LOUD due to a number of mistakes by LYON, and in my opinion, one of the mistakes is the Vayne pick into Sion and Aatrox while lacking a tanky support. The idea is understandable, Vayne is a good counter pick with late-game potential, but this is viable if Vayne gets the necessary early advantage. And this didn't happen, and in the Sion vs Vayne matchup, Sion came out the winner, and Aatrox felt very good. And as a result, Vayne was almost useless in fights, and the team lacked both tankiness to hold off LOUD and damage to kill them.
The third map was going quite evenly in terms of kills and the overall situation in the game. But LYON worked very well on objectives, especially dragons. Despite the fact that not the most successful dragons spawned, the lack of dragons for LOUD strongly decided the outcome of this meeting. It also had an impact that LYON did not drag out the game, as LOUD had a pick that scales very well, and in the late game, despite the dragons, Sivir and Aurora could have erased them. 2:1 and match point for LYON.
The fourth map started quite slowly, although some activity appeared closer to the 10th minute. LYON managed to set the pace of the game until the mid-game, but everything changed when the 5v5 fights started. LOUD had a lot of damage, and they could pinpoint and destroy even a tanky champion in a couple of seconds, which always gave them a numbers advantage in fights. By the 20th minute, LOUD had already gained form and an advantage that was too difficult for LYON to win back. 2:2 and the final fifth map.
The fifth map passed under the complete control of LYON. Secured objectives, map control, a massive lead in gold and experience. And the final point in this game was put by a fight in the mid lane at the 27th minute, which LYON won and picked up their 4th dragon.
