he first map started off fairly even, though Bilibili Gaming maintained a slight gold lead. The most interesting part of this match was that BLG stole the Shen pick from G2, while also picking Poppy, a champion G2 is usually comfortable playing with. It was incredibly important for G2 Esports to win this series, but their Annie mid and Senna ADC picks raised doubts about their damage output. G2's only real chance to scale their damage was through dragons, but unfortunately, they only managed to secure one - and it wasn't a combat-oriented one. It was a relatively simple map for Bilibili Gaming, making it 1:0 in the series.
G2 Esports started the second map actively and much more confidently than the first. Their draft was clear and easy to execute, but in the mid-game, BLG turned things around thanks to Gnar, Alistar's excellent positioning, and successfully dodging Neeko's ultimates. After a couple of successful teamfights, it became nearly impossible for G2 Esports to fight back, and BLG simply pushed their opponents to the finish.
On the third map, G2 Esports focused on the bot lane, hoping that Caitlyn would be able to win the lane. However, BLG understood perfectly that they couldn't allow this to happen and completely shut down G2's bot lane. G2 also faced major issues in the mid and top lanes; they simply couldn't find any momentum due to heavy pressure from Bilibili Gaming. Massive pressure across the entire map and a huge early-game lead allowed BLG to secure all the dragons and take a 3:0 victory without any real suspense, especially on the third map.
