Spanish jungler Francisco " Thayger " Mazo Sánchez is set to join Galions for the 2026 LFL season, Sheep Esports reports. The 23-year-old player will replace Andrei "Xerxe" Dragomir, marking his first experience in the French league.

According to information published on Sheep Esports, Thayger also drew interest from KOI Academy and Barça eSports, and his contract includes a clause allowing him to negotiate with LEC teams until October 25.

Thayger has spent almost his entire career competing in Spain, starting with Ramboot and UCAM, before joining Barça eSports, where he won the 2025 Superliga Spring Split and finished as a finalist at the EMEA Masters. He later made his LEC debut with Natus Vincere, though the organization opted for a roster change for the following season.

Galions, who had one of their best splits in history and finished second at the LFL Summer 2025 Finals, reportedly secured Thayger early to strengthen their jungle position ahead of 2026. According to Sheep Esports, the player is considered one of Europe’s most promising junglers and is expected to significantly bolster the team’s roster going into the new season.
