BRION Secure Clean 2–0 Victory Over Dplus — LCK 2025 Round 3–5
The second match of the day featured a Rise Group showdown between Dplus and BRION. Heading into the series, Dplus held first place in the group, while BRION sat in third.
Game 1 Picks:
- BRION: Rumble, Wukong, Annie, Corki, Rell
- Dplus: Ornn, Trundle, Oriana, Sivir, Bard
Game 2 Picks:
- BRION: Renekton, Maokai, Yone, Lucian, Nautilus
- Dplus: Ambessa, VI, Ahri, Ezreal, Karma
Game 1The first game was under BRION’s control from start to finish. Their biggest success came from dominating both the top and bot lanes, which gave them a major edge in teamfights. Morgan’s Rumble was practically unkillable during fights, while Corki dealt massive damage from the backline. Although Dplus managed to stay somewhat even in gold by taking down towers, the gold deficit from laning made it extremely difficult to contest BRION in fights. With a clear advantage, BRION secured the first win — 1–0.
Game 2 The second match played out like a textbook win for BRION. Their strategy focused on map control and constant pressure, and they executed it flawlessly. A lot of credit goes to Clozer ’s Yone and Croco’s jungle Maokai — both were instrumental in every objective and fight. BRION consistently entered skirmishes with better positioning and more players alive, thanks to Yone’s ability to burst down a target or deal huge damage and escape. One of Dplus ’ biggest problems was their lack of protection for Ezreal, who kept getting caught out and eliminated early. With four dragons and a Baron under their belt, BRION closed out the game convincingly and took the series 2–0.
BRION’s jungler Croco earned MVP of the series thanks to his impressive showing, finishing 7/1/5 on Maokai and 5/1/5 on Wukong over the two games.
This marks BRION’s 10th win of the season, bringing their record to 10–16. As for Dplus, they now sit at 15–11 and still hold the top spot in the Rise Group, despite the loss.
