The second match of the day in the Rise Group featured Dplus vs DRX. Dplus currently hold first place in the group, while DRX sit in fourth.
Game 1 Picks:
- Dplus: Aurora, Trundle, Oriana, Corki, Neeko
- DRX: Gwen, Xin Zhao, Ryze, Sivir, Karma
Game 2 Picks:
- Dplus: Ornn, Wukong, Annie, Jhin, Rell
- DRX: Rumble, Pantheon, Victor, Miss Fortune, Nautilus
The first game was action-packed and fiercely competitive, with both teams giving their all for the win. The lead shifted back and forth after every fight, and the decisive moment came at Baron, where DRX managed to come out on top. With the Baron buff and more surviving champions, DRX made the call to push for the Nexus. But waiting for them were the only two survivors — Aurora and Trundle. A small misstep from DRX gave Aurora the perfect opportunity to land her abilities, leading to an incredible highlight play and a stunning comeback win for Dplus in Game 1.
The second game was just as intense and unpredictable. Both teams made numerous mistakes, but each side did its best to capitalize on the other’s errors. At times, teamfights were so frequent that ultimates had time to reset in between. Neither Dplus nor DRX wanted to give up the map, but Dplus held a slight edge in terms of objectives. The ending was completely unexpected — DRX secured Ornn and the dragon, gaining a temporary advantage. But then Nautilus got caught out, everything flipped in an instant, Dplus scored an ACE, and the Nexus was destroyed moments later.
Dplus ADC Aiming earned MVP honors for his stellar performance across all three games, finishing 9/0/4 on Corki and 14/3/7 on Jhin.
With this victory, Dplus solidify their position at the top of their group with a 15–10 record. For DRX, it marks their 18th loss and just 7 wins, pushing them even further away from the Play-In stage.
