Gen.G Extend Their Dominance with 2–0 Win Over NS RedForce — LCK 2025 Round 3–5

The day kicked off with a Legend Group matchup between Gen.G Esports and NS RedForce. Coming into the match, Gen.G held first place in the group, while NS RedForce sat in fifth.

Game 1 Picks:

  • Gen.G: Gwen, Wukong, Annie, Corki, Neeko
  • NS RedForce: Ambessa, Xin Zhao, Oriana, Jhin, Alistar

Game 2 Picks:

  • Gen.G: Yorik, Patheon, Aurora, Kai`Sa, Rakan
  • NS RedForce: Rumble, Scarner, Azir, Sivir, Nautilus

Game 1 was completely under Gen.G ’s control — not because NS RedForce made major mistakes, but because Gen.G played their lanes to near perfection. By the 19-minute mark, they had already built a 7,000 gold lead, which is an enormous advantage that early in the game. With such a lead, none of NS’s champions could stand a chance, even in uneven fights. A clean and decisive win for Gen.G.

Game 2 was nothing short of a stomp from Gen.G — though, to be fair, NS RedForce put themselves in that position. Twice in a row, NS attempted risky tower dives on the Gen.G bot lane, only to get wiped out 3v0 both times. They also lost control of mid lane, which allowed Aurora to roam and join fights much faster. By the 10-minute mark, Gen.G were already up 5,000 gold. From there, it was just a matter of execution — NS couldn’t contest objectives or even defend towers. In just over 10 more minutes, Gen.G easily closed out the second game.

Gen.G's ADC Ruler was named MVP of the series after an exceptional showing in all three games — going 9/0/4 on Corki and 14/3/7 on Kai’Sa.

With this victory, Gen.G improved their record to 24 wins and 1 loss. For NS RedForce, the loss brings their record to 10–15.
