T1 Score a Confident 2–0 Victory Over Nongshim RedForce — LCK 2025 Round 3–5
The second match of the day in the Legend Group featured T1 vs Nongshim RedForce. Coming into the series, the teams held third and fifth place in the group, respectively.
Game 1 Picks:
- T1: Aurora, Nocturne, Orianna, Jhin, Alistar
- Nongshim RedForce: Rumble, Trundle, Ryze, Xayah, Lulu
Game 2 Picks:
- T1: Ambessa, Xin Zhao Galio, Sivir, Poppy
- Nongshim RedForce: Gwen, Wukong, Corki, Kalista, Renata Glasc
Game 1 was a treat to watch for T1 fans. They moved around the map with precision, capitalizing on every small opportunity and opponent mistake. Every kill translated into an extra tower or objective taken. A special highlight was Keria’s masterful performance — he delivered incredible impact and became the first support in LCK history to reach 500 kills in the tournament. It was a confident showing and an easy first-map win for T1.
Game 2 was practically lost for Nongshim RedForce in the draft phase. Kalista currently holds the worst win rate among all ADCs on the pro scene, yet they picked her alongside Renata Glasc. While the idea behind the combo was understandable, the problem was leaving Poppy open — a direct counter to Kalista, especially in the hands of a player like Keria. As expected, that pick paid off. By the mid-game, T1 looked far stronger in teamfights, securing every objective and leaving no space for Kalista to have any impact. She was completely shut down. The series ended 2–0 in T1’s favor, securing their Playoff spot. Their next goal is to push for second place in the group to ensure a more favorable position in the postseason.
T1 Support Keria claimed MVP of the series after delivering an outstanding performance, going 1/0/20 on Alistar and an unstoppable 2/0/15 on Corki.
This victory marks T1’s 16th win of the season, bringing their record to 16–8. NS, meanwhile, drop to 10–14.
