The first match of the day in the Rise Group featured DRX vs BRION. Coming into the series, DRX sat in fourth place in the group, while BRION held third.

Game 1 Picks:

  • DRX: Gwen, Xin Zhao, Galio, Yunara, Rakan
  • BRION: Aurora, Vi, Cassiopeia, Kai`Sa, Rell

Game 2 Picks:

  • DRX: Ambessa, Jarvan IV, Orianna, Jhin, Alistar
  • BRION: Rumble, Wukong, Annie, Corki, Hype

Game 3 Picks:

  • DRX: Cho`Gath, Viego, Ryze, Aphelios, Thresh
  • BRION: Sion, Zed, Victor, Sivir, Blitzcrank

Game 1 was firmly under DRX ’s control from start to finish. Their draft allowed them to be active on the map from the opening minutes, offering plenty of crowd control and mobility. This let them set a fast tempo and shut down BRION before their comp could scale into the late game. Strong objective control also played a huge role — securing Void Crabs and Rift Heralds accelerated their push and limited BRION’s map movement. Knowing they didn’t need to drag things out, DRX ended the game at the first real opportunity after taking Baron. A fairly straightforward map closed out 13-3 in DRX’s favor.

Game 2 was a complete reversal in BRION ’s favor. There’s hardly much to analyze here — the game ended 20-1 with virtually no resistance from DRX. Nothing worked for them, while BRION snowballed relentlessly. They secured every key objective — Void Crabs, both Heralds, three dragons, and Atakan. Although they could have ended without it, BRION took Baron for full security, then destroyed the Nexus to force a decisive Game 3.

The final game was genuinely close and intense, though BRION held the edge for most of it. The Blitzcrank pick into Thresh worked extremely well both early on and throughout the match. Fights over objectives were relatively even, but the dragons gave BRION slightly stronger buffs. DRX tried to contest them but couldn’t win those engagements, which widened BRION’s lead. At 23 minutes, DRX found a potential comeback opportunity that offered a glimmer of hope, but BRION held firm, outplaying them in teamfights and positioning. A well-earned 2-1 victory for BRION.

BRION’s ADC Hype claimed MVP of the series after delivering an outstanding performance, going 6/0/6 on Corki and an unstoppable 11/0/8 on Sivir.

With this victory, BRION improve to a 9–15 record, pulling a few wins ahead of the fourth-place team in the group and securing a strong position for the Play-In. DRX now sit at 7–17.
