The first week of LEC Summer 2025 kicked off with a match between the newly joined organization Natus Vincere and the Winter Split champions Karmine Corp.

Game 1 Picks:

  • Natus Vincere Aatrox, Pantheon, Oriana, Yunara, Alistar
  • Karmine Corp: Sion, Wukong, Taliyah, Xayah, Rakan

Game 2 Picks:

  • Natus Vincere: Cho` Gath, Jarvan IV, Yone, Kai`Sa, Neeko
  • Karmine Corp: K`Sante, Xin Zhao, Ryze, Ezreal, Nautilus

Game 1 started off slowly, with both teams feeling each other out and avoiding early aggression or dives. The first blood didn’t come until the 9-minute mark — in favor of NaVi. However, just a couple of minutes later, Karmine Corp turned up the pressure around the dragon, securing the objective along with several kills. From that point on, KC controlled the pace of the game, consistently pressing their advantage and denying NaVi any space to make plays. The game ended with a dominant 18–4 victory for Karmine Corp.

Game 2 was also one-sided and fully under Karmine Corp ’s control. Natus Vincere looked disorganized across the map, often scrambling without clear direction. In teamfights, they seemed unsure whether to engage or disengage — a lack of coordination that clearly held them back. KC capitalized on this uncertainty, gradually building their lead with each fight. Eventually, Ezreal became so fed that NaVi couldn’t even approach to defend. The series ended with a clean 2–0 win for Karmine Corp.

The matches have only just begun, but Karmine Corp now sit at the top of the group with a 1–0 record, while Natus Vincere fall to the bottom of the standings at 0–1.
