T1 Secure Clean 2–0 Victory Over KT Rolster in LCK Round 3–5
The second match of the day took place in the Legend Group between T1 and KT Rolster — a clash between the 3rd and 4th place teams in the standings. Notably, KT Rolster came into this match on a 7-game losing streak against T1 in head-to-head encounters.
Game 1 Picks:
- KT Rolster: Rumble, Wukong, Cassiopeia, Corki, Nautilus
- T1: Orn, Xin Zhao, Ryze, Sivir, Neeko
Game 2 Picks:
- KT Rolster: Jax, Skarner, Victor, Varus, Poppy
- T1: Gwen, Nocturne, Galio, Xayah, Rakan
Game 1 was completely under T1’s control. Their coordination was on point, and their mobility combined with AoE abilities left KT Rolster with no real chance to respond. KT tried to turn things around by securing Baron, but by that time, T1 had already built a massive lead in both gold and experience. A perfectly timed 3-man Neeko ultimate crushed any remaining hopes KT had of winning the map.
In Game 2, T1 continued their dominance. From the start, their draft looked significantly stronger than KT Rolster’s. Although KT attempted to deny key champions and counter-pick to disrupt T1’s synergy, the execution from T1 was simply too clean. By the 20-minute mark, T1 had already built a 7k gold lead and full control over the map. At 25 minutes, they secured Baron uncontested — and immediately went on the offensive. They caught KT in the top jungle, scored three kills, Oner secured the fourth dragon, and the rest of the team took down the top lane. After that, T1 made their final push and ended the game, sealing a 2–0 match victory.
With this win, T1 improve to a 14–7 record in the group, putting them within striking distance of second place. That gap might not last long either, as T1 recently defeated Gen.G — widely regarded as the world’s best team — in Week 10. KT Rolster remain in 4th place, but their 11–10 record brings them dangerously close to a negative scoreline. They also continue their losing streak against T1, now at 8 consecutive defeats.
