Chinese organization Bilibili Gaming has announced the departure of jungler Yang "Wei" Yan-Wei. The news was shared by Sheep Esports on their X page.

Wei joined BLG in May 2024 after parting ways with RNG, where he had spent most of his career. His transfer was one of the most high-profile moves of the offseason, and he was expected to strengthen the jungle role and bring more consistency to the team’s play.

During his time with BLG, Wei helped the team win the LPL 2024 Summer title and finish as runner-ups at LPL 2025 Split 2 and the 2024 World Championship — where they suffered a heartbreaking 2:3 loss to T1 in the final.

The reason behind his departure is unknown, but it’s already been confirmed that he has joined Invictus Gaming. The current IG roster is as follows:

This is a clear upgrade for IG. The team hasn’t seen much success in recent years, even on the regional stage — let alone internationally. Their last appearance at a major international tournament was back in 2019 at MSI, where they placed 3rd–4th after losing to Team Liquid.

Will this new roster finally bring IG back to form? Time will tell, but at the very least, their regional performance is expected to improve.
