FlyQuest qualify for MSI 2025 after dramatic backdoor win over Cloud9

FlyQuest pulled off one of the most thrilling victories by defeating Cloud9 in the grand finals of LTA North. The teams played a full Best-of-5 series, but it was the fifth map that turned into an instant classic. At the 47-minute mark, while the entire Cloud9 roster was focused on slaying the Elder Dragon, Bwipo and Quad slipped through the jungle and started a backdoor. The base fell so quickly that Cloud9 barely had time to react — they managed to get off only one teleport, but it wasn’t enough. FlyQuest closed out the series with a 3:2 score.

With this incredible win, FlyQuest become the LTA North champions and secure a spot at MSI 2025, as well as a place at the Esports World Cup 2025 as the region’s representative. As for Cloud9, although they won’t be attending MSI, they will still compete internationally — their second-place finish grants them a direct invite to EWC 2025.
