Meet the champion of Halo Championship Series 2022: Kansas City - Sentinels

Came to the end of Halo Championship Series 2022: Kansas City. At the championship, which was held from April 29 to May 1 in Kansas City at the Kansas City Convention Center, over forty teams from around the world competed for a prize pool of $350,000. The winner of the tournament was the Sentinels team, which outplayed Cloud9 in the final with a score of 4:0.

The tournament for the future winner began with a confident performance in the group stage, during which the Sentinels outplayed the Pittsburgh Knights (3:1), JLINGZ esports (3:0), Pioneers (3:1) and Built By Gamers (3:0).

Having made it to the playoffs, the North American team continued its victorious march, coping with Quadrant (3:2), Cloud9 (3:1) and OpTic Gaming (3:2) in turn. In the grand final of the competition, the Sentinels defeated Cloud9 without a chance (4:0), thanks to which they earned $140,000.

  • 9th-12th place: Gamers First, Fnatic, XSET and G2 Esports - $3,150 + 22,000 points.
  • 13th-16th place: Pittsburgh Knights, Spacestation Gaming, Complexity Gaming and EasternMediaGG - $2,100 + 18,000 points.
  • 17th-20th: Louisville Red Wolves, BLVKHVND EU, JLINGZ esports and Built By Gamers — $1,400 + 12,000 points.
  • 21st-24th place: Natus Vincere, Team Cruelty, Luminosity Gaming and Chiefs Esports Club — $1,400 + 11,000 points.
