OpTic Gaming wins Halo World Championship 2022
/The Halo World Championship 2022 has come to an end. At the championship, which was held from October 20 to 23 in Seattle at the Seattle Convention Center, twenty teams from Europe, Mexico, North America and Oceania fought for a total prize pool of $1,000,000, as well as rating points. The winner of the tournament was the OpTic Gaming team, which in the grand final was stronger than Cloud9 with a score of 1:4; 4:0.
The competition for the North American team began with the group stage, during which they won three victories over Complexity Gaming (3:0), Native Gaming (3:1) and Oxygen Esports (3:0).
Having made it to the playoffs, Lunchbox's wards continued their victorious march, defeating Gamers First (3:0), Sentinels (3:0) and Native Gaming Red (3:0) in turn on their way to the grand final. In the decisive match of the tournament, OpTic Gaming managed to cope with Cloud9 (1:4; 4:0), thus becoming the winner of the Halo World Championship 2022.
