paiN Gaming rebuilt their Dota 2 roster in 2026. The organization signed a Peruvian stack that included several strong regional-level players and Scofield.
The team’s first tournament was DreamLeague Season 28. In Group Stage 1, paiN Gaming secured a victory over team y, drew with OG, suffered 5 losses, and were eliminated from the tournament, finishing in 14th place.
This tournament was more of a test for the roster — how well the players work together as a team, their individual skill level, and overall potential — and the lineup passed this test at an average level.
Next, paiN Gaming played at the Tier-3 tournament CCT Season 2 Series 8 and performed very well. The team started directly in the playoffs, where they defeated AVULUS, l1ga team, and 1w, becoming the tournament champions.
ESL One Birmingham 2026 is an opportunity for paiN Gaming to progress and make a statement at the Tier-1 level.
