To be honest, in my understanding, Team Spirit is several times stronger than Team Empire. The spirits in the group lost only to the strongest Virtus.pro and Tundra Esports, and Team Empire can be singled out only for a draw with PSG.LGD, beastcoast, Team Liquid.

The best of 3 format is finally back, and the results will be really more objective. Team Empire definitely deserve respect that after the vacation they got together and overcame the qualification first, and then the group stage, but their place in the playoffs is due to the rules from ESL.

The last match between these teams was in the final of the CIS region qualification for The International 10, then the Spirits won 3: 2, but the Imperials had a different roster. I believe that Team Spirit has a stronger player in every position than Team Empire, the best of 3 format, and therefore there will hardly be any surprise in this match.
