Esports news B8 Esports
In brief:
B8 is a young esports organization represented by a Dota 2 roster. B8 is a young organization consisting of CIS players and its creator is a champion of The International 2011 and two-times medal winner of TI, Danylo«Dendi» Ishutin.
First Appearance
The community saw B8 for the first time in January 2020. Then there appeared an announcement video with Dendi himself. However, the roster did not hurry to announce the roster of B8 letting the hype grow more and more.
The gamers were introduced in February 2020. The first roster was represented by:
- pio65
- Dendi
- Ghostik
- KingR
- LeBronDota
But it did not take long B8 to change the roster. After the first losses, the team went through a replacement period and the failures started fast.
B8’s Results
The debut tournament for Dendi’s organization were the qualifiers for ESL One Los Angeles 2020 CIS. Danylo Ishutin’s team did not make it through the open qualifier stage and left the race with 5-8 place.
The next challenge for B8 was a performance at WePlay! Dota 2 Tug of War: Mad Moon. B8 managed to get to the tournament thanks to a lucky turn of events. Royal Never Give Up could not take part in the tournament, so their spot was taken by Dendi’s team. However, the team could not show any worthy gaming at all. B8 got eliminated from WePlay! Dota 2: Mad Moon at 5-6 place.
The next tournament for B8 was the championship Arena of Blood where B8 again took 5-6 place. This unlucky streak could not happen without leaving a trace.
In March, pio65 left the team giving his spot to Xcalibur. However, the replacement did not make any noticeable change in the team.
In April, B8 took 7-8 place at StayHome Challenge and 15-16 at ESL One Los Angeles 2020 – Online: Europe & CIS. In May, the team took 8 place at Epic Prime League Season 1 and 13-14 place at WePlay! Pushka League S1: Division 1.
In June, the team achieved the best result since the moment it was created — third place at the qualifiers for BEYOND EPIC: Europe/CIS, however, the tournament itself was failed by B8, the gamers took 9-10 place.
After a series of extremely devastating results, the team lost LeBronDota and Xcalibur. Ghostik and KingR left the team right after them. Their positions were taken by international players. The new roster was:
- Crystallis
- Dendi
- LastHero
- 5up
- Fishman
However, the renewed roster did not change anything. The team failed the qualifiers for OMEGA League: Europe Closed Qualifier and for the second division of the league. However, B8 had a bigger failure at the event as the team took 13-14 place there.
In September, the team took 9 place at BTS Pro Series Season 3: Europe/CIS. Later B8 took part in qualifiers for ESL One Germany 2020, DOTA Summit 13 Online: Europe & CIS, and EPIC League Closed Qualifier, however, the team came across failures at all these events.
Organization and Awards
The creator and captain of the team is Dendi. B8 collaborate with a bookmaking company VulkanBet, and since the moment of its creation, the team have earned about 26,000 dollars with grabs.
