Mineski pulled out from Galaxy Battles II

The Malaysian eSports organization has announced its departure from Galaxy Battles after the rest of participants.

Let’s remind that after the eSports was recognized at the country level in the Philippines, the government of the eastern country decided to test all cyber-sportsmen for drugs in their systems. Valve did not agree with such requirements and made a decision to leave Galaxy Battles II without a “Major” status and to cut a prize pool in half.

At the moment, five teams have already refused from participation in the tournament. The absence of DPC points as a reward has become the main reason for the former participants. Virtus.pro had been the first one to announce about pulling out and Newbee was the last one before Mineski.

The list of participants of Galaxy Battles II is as follows now:

Infamous
OG
TnC Pro Team
LGD.Forever Young
Evil Geniuses
