Dota 2 DreamLeague Season 28 Group Stage 1 Review
From February 16 to 20, 2026, the DreamLeague Season 28 Group Stage 1 Review took place. Sixteen teams were divided into two groups of eight and competed to determine the top four teams in each group. We will talk about the final placements of the teams and the most interesting moments of DreamLeague Season 28 Group Stage 1.
Group A
| 1 | Aurora | 12-2 |
| 2 | PV | 11-3 |
| 3 | Team Liquid | 10-4 |
| 4 | BB Team | 7-7 |
| 5 | OG | 7-7 |
| 6 | Team Y | 3-11 |
| 7 | paiN Gaming | 3-11 |
| 8 | Yakult Brothers | 3-11 |
Team Liquid predictably finished among the leaders and qualified for the next stage of the tournament. The biggest surprise was OG’s 5th place finish, as they were also expected to qualify for the next round of the tournament.
| 1 | MOUZ | 10-4 |
| 2 | Tundra Esports | 10-4 |
| 3 | Team Falcons | 9-5 |
| 4 | Xtreme Gaming | 8-6 |
| 5 | NAVI | 7-7 |
| 6 | Team Spirit | 6-8 |
| 7 | GamerLegion | 4-10 |
| 8 | Execration | 2-10 |
MOUZ returned to a high level of play after an unsuccessful performance at the previous tournament and won their group. The most unexpected performance came from GamerLegion — the team was considered one of the outsiders and managed to draw against Team Spirit, Xtreme Gaming, Team Falcons, and MOUZ.
DreamLeague Season 28 Group Stage 2 begins on February 21. Eight teams will compete in a single group in a Bo3 format. The top two teams advance to the upper bracket of the playoffs, the teams that finish 3rd and 4th advance to the lower bracket of the playoffs, and the remaining teams are eliminated. Who do you think will win DreamLeague Season 28?
