On September 11, the main stage of The International 2025 started. In the Upper Bracket Quarterfinals there were 4 exciting matches, including the clash of the tournament’s unexpected favorites Xtreme Gaming and Tundra Esports. The Chinese team continued their winning streak by defeating their opponents 2-0 and qualifying for the Upper Bracket Semifinals.

Match Progress

The match began with a slight advantage for Tundra Esports. The European team played quite aggressively, actively moving across the map and eliminating enemy heroes. Closer to the midgame, the game calmed down a bit, with Tundra securing their advantage, but without dangerous moments. The turning point occurred at the 43rd minute, when Tundra Esports, under smoke, entered Xtreme Gaming’s territory, but they read the game, met them, killed 3 heroes, and took back most of the advantage. The game dragged on to the late stage, where Xtreme Gaming proved stronger and won 23-18 in 55 minutes.

On the second map, Tundra Esports drafted better heroes than in the previous game and started actively right from the beginning, making the first blood. However, things didn’t go according to plan for the team afterwards. Xtreme Gaming seized the initiative, and thanks to the excellent play of Ame and Xm, managed to secure the victory. The match lasted 45 minutes and ended 21-16 in favor of the Chinese team.

Thus, Xtreme Gaming advance to the Upper Bracket Semifinals, where they will face the winner of the PARIVISION vs HEROIC match.
