On September 4, the biggest Dota 2 tournament of the year — The International 2025 — officially began. In the second round of the group stage, Yakutou Brothers came out on top in a close battle against Team Nemesis, securing a 2:1 victory.

Game One

From the opening minutes of the first map, Yakutou Brothers asserted confident control over the map and made the right decisions in their play. Team Nemesis tried to keep up in overall team kills and managed to do so for a while, but by the 15th minute they had lost control of the game and fell significantly behind in net worth. The match ended at the 32-minute mark with Yakutou Brothers winning 32-12.

Game Two

In the second game, Team Nemesis managed to stay motivated and fought back to equalize the score. Right from the start, they dictated the pace of the game with aggressive kills, which limited their opponents’ farming opportunities. Mac’s performance on Void Spirit stood out, as he secured the most kills for his team and finished the game with a 7/1/8 scoreline. Raven, playing Dark Seer, was the only player on the map who didn’t die, ending with a flawless 4/0/10.

Game Three

Predicting the outcome of the third map was nearly impossible — both teams had shown strong performances in the previous games, took their drafts very seriously, and prepared well. However, from the very beginning Yakutou Brothers were determined to claim victory, putting relentless pressure on their opponents. Despite attempts to turn the game around, Team Nemesis fell once again, losing in 39 minutes with a final score of 4-22. Neither Raven nor Erice managed to secure a single kill throughout the game, which heavily impacted the team’s result.
