Tundra Esports defeat Yakutou Brothers 2:1 at The International 2025

On September 4, 2025, during the group stage of The International 2025, Tundra Esports faced Yakutou Brothers in an exciting best-of-three series. The match ended with a 2:1 victory for Tundra.

Map 1: Tundra’s strong start

On the first map, Tundra Esports demonstrated an aggressive strategy with mobile heroes Lycan and Invoker, effectively controlling the map and creating early teamfights. Crystallis on Faceless Void and supports Saksa and Tobi provided stability, allowing Tundra to dominate key engagements.

Yakutou Brothers tried to resist, but their late-game approach was not strong enough to turn the tide.

Map 2: Yakutou Brothers strike back

In the second map, Yakutou Brothers adapted, adopting an aggressive, high-damage playstyle. Their late-game heroes Void Spirit and Enchantress enabled the team to dominate and overturn the map.

Tundra attempted to set the pace, but the opponents’ effective response allowed Yakutou Brothers to even the series.

Map 3: Tundra reclaim control

The decider showcased Tundra Esports’ strength. The team once again utilized the Lycan + Invoker combination to gain early advantages and secure map control. Crystallis and bzm played key roles in decisive teamfights, while Saksa and Tobi provided crucial support to stabilize the game.

Yakutou Brothers were unable to mount a comeback, and Tundra secured a confident victory to close the series.
