ESL One Berlin Major 2023 group stage schedule revealed

The 18 strongest Dota 2 teams from six professional regions will battle it out for the Major title, hefty prize money and the DPC points needed to qualify for Valve's MOBA main event, The International 2023. Here's a look at Group A and Group B match schedules and all the details about the group stage.
ESL One Berlin Major 2023 group stage format
The group stage of the Berlin Major 2023 will take place in a Round Robin format. Participants will be divided into 2 groups of 9 teams. All matches will take place in a bo2 format. Top-4 teams will advance to the top flight play-offs. The teams ranked 5th-6th will qualify to the lower reaches of the grid. The remaining teams will leave the tournament.
Group stage schedule for ESL One Berlin Major 2023
The matches will be played in 4 streams. There will be a total of 8 matches per game day in each of the two groups. The exception to this will be the matches scheduled for April 30. The groups will then play 4 matches each as well as tiebreakers if needed.

ESL One Berlin Major 2023 prize pool distribution
Competitors will compete for a total of $500,000 in prize money and 2,700 DPC points, 800 more than in the previous Major tournament this season due to the format of the Dota Pro Circuit 2023.
The distribution of prize money at ESL One Berlin Major 2023 is shown below:
- 1st place - $200,000 - 500 DPC points
- 2nd place - $100,000 - 450 DPC Points
- 3 place - $75,000 - 400 DPC points
- 4 place - $50,000 - 350 DPC points
- 5-6 place - $25,000 - 300 DPC points
- 7-8 place - $12,500 - 200 DPC points
It should be noted that teams that leave the tournament at the end of the group stage will go home empty-handed.
