7 | Monaspa | 2-5 | 5-10 |
8 | Nigma Galaxy | 2-5 | 7-10 |
The expected winners in Western Europe were Team Liquid. Their squad looked very convincing in the last week and won all three of their matches. Also in the top 4 were The International 2022 champions Tundra Esports and reigning Major champions Gaimin Gladiators. They finished with a 5-2 statistic. OG had the most hectic season in terms of developments. Yuragi and his teammates had every chance of leaving the first division after an extremely disappointing Long Sogpeg, but this week were able to pick up two wins over Nigma Galaxy and Entity, which reduced them to a replay with Ooredoo Thunders for 4th-5th place. As a result, OG will head to their first Major tournament of the season.
A pleasant regional opener was the Ooredoo Thunders club. This mix put up a serious fight against established teams and finished 3-4.
Western European Dota 2 fans were also treated to a series of tiebreakers between Entity, Monaspa and Nigma Galaxy. Only one of these teams could keep their place in the first division. In the end, Entity prevailed among these three clubs.
As a result, Team Liquid, Tundra Esports, Gaimin Gladiators and OG will go to the ESL One Berlin Major 2023, while Monaspa and Nigma Galaxy will leave the first division.
Eastern Europe
Place | Team name | Match score | Map score |
1 | HellRaisers | 7-0 | 14-3 |
2 | Team Spirit | 6-1 | 13-5 |
3 | BetBoom Team | 5-2 | 11-6 |
4 | Virtus.pro | 4-3 | 8-9 |
5 | One Move | 3-4 | 10-9 |
6 | HYDRA | 2-5 | 8-10 |
7 | Natus Vincere | 1-6 | 4-13 |
8 | Darkside | 0-7 | 1-14 |
The undisputed winner of Division One in Eastern Europe was HellRaisers. The team defeated absolutely all of their league opponents, while Natus Vincere, One Move and Team Spirit managed to beat the champions by one card each. Speaking of Team Spirit, Yatoro and his teammates gave a decent performance. The International 2021 champions Ledge were only beaten by the aforementioned HellRaisers. Towards the end of last year, BetBoom Team signed a new squad made up of some fairly established performers. The team was able to acquit itself and take a place in the top 3 of the division with a 5-2 statistic.
Virtus.pro, HYDRA and One Move had a rather mediocre performance in the course of the tournament, but Virtus.pro, almost from the very beginning in the relegation zone, managed to rehabilitate themselves, but failed to win the cherished slot at the Major in Berlin.
The biggest disappointment in Eastern Europe was the Ukrainian eSports club Natus Vincere. At the end of last season, the team fell to the second division, but the management decided to sign the PuckChamp squad, which allowed them to return to a familiar environment. After starting with a win over Darkside, the Kazakh-Ukrainian squad finished on a six-game losing streak and in 7th place in the standings. NAVI were relegated for the second time in a row. Only Darkside fared worse with a 0-7 record.
As a result, HellRaisers, Team Spirit and BetBoom Team will go to ESL One Berlin Major 2023, while NAVI and Darkside will leave Division One.
China
Place | Team name | Match score | Map score |
1 | Xtreme Gaming | 6-1 | 12-5 |
2 | PSG.LGD | 6-1 | 13-2 |
3 | Invictus Gaming | 4-3 | 10-7 |
4 | Team Aster | 4-3 | 9-6 |
5 | Aster.Aries | 3-4 | 6-8 |
6 | Ybb Gaming | 3-4 | 6-9 |
7 | Vici Gaming | 2-5 | 5-10 |
8 | Outsiders from CN | 0-4 | 0-14 |
The Xtreme Gaming and PSG.LGD were tied for gold and silver in China's Division One, which was considered one of the strongest regions on the professional Dota 2 scene, finishing 6-1. Invictus Gaming had a rough start to the league but then managed to even things out and make it into the top 4. Unlike the previous team, Team Aster showed a confident game at Long Cogne, but in the last part of the league Ledge or PSG.LGD, Xtreme Gaming and surprisingly Ybb Gaming. The 4-3 result still allowed them to meet their target for the tournament.
Aster.Aries didn't show any miracle, but simply played quite consistently, finishing DPC CN 2023 Tour 2: Division I in 5th place in the standings. After the previous DPC round, the Ybb Gaming squad was able to climb up to Division I, where they did the bare minimum to retain a slot for further participation in this division in the next round. In doing so, the eSports club outplayed Invictus Gaming and Team Aster. Ybb Gaming gave up their replay for 5th-6th place.
In China, Team Vici Gaming was the disappointment. Having just returned to the title league, Yang and teammates were unable to establish themselves among the strongest teams in the region. The 2-5 result forces a return to a lower level. Outsiders From CN lost absolutely every match and showed a disgusting game against the rest of the teams.
As a result, Xtreme Gaming, PSG.LGD, Invictus Gaming and Team Aster will head to ESL One Berlin Major 2023, while Vici Gaming and Outsiders from CN will leave the first division.

The nouns collective managed to disappoint. Husky and the team had four consecutive wins at first, but then started to lose. They kept their slot in the first division, but the impressions of their performance are not the best. Ukrainian club B8 also managed to keep their place in the division.
5RATFORCESTAFF won only twice, securing seventh place in the standings. Only Wildcard Gaming performed worse than them. They led the way for absolutely everyone in North America.

In South America the level of competition traditionally comes down to two or three teams. In the current situation, we are talking about beastcoast and the South American squad Evil Geniuses. Beastcoast outclassed all their rivals and won the first division 7-0. Evil Geniuses were constantly on their heels in the standings, with Ledgeili in a head-to-head encounter with a 1-2 result. Second place was also a decent result.
Among the other teams, Thunder Awaken stood out qualitatively, suffering only from the fact that South America was allocated two slots at ESL One Berlin Major 2023. Mjz and their teammates showed a good game, and lost only to the aforementioned beastcoast and EG. Infinity managed to finish with a 3-4 result and retain their slot in the first division. Infamous.R, Alliance.LATAM and Keyd Stars had a more interesting situation. These three teams finished 2-5, so they had to play a series of tiebreakers for 5th-7th place. At the end of six bo1 matches, Keyd Stars was the weakest team in the trio.
Qhali played the worst of the bunch, falling to Division One and then leaving the fray with a 1-6 record. The team defeated only Infamous.R.
