The distribution of teams for the group stage of The Lima Major 2023 has become known

Tournament operator 4D Esports together with EPULZE presented the distribution of teams for the group stage of The Lima Major 2023, the first Major Dota 2 tournament in the DPC 2023 gaming season. In honor of this, the organizers held a live broadcast, which revealed the seeding of the participants.

In total, the group stage will feature 2 groups of 9 participants each. They will fight in the Single Round-Robin format, and all matches will be held in the form of a bo2 series. The teams that took places in the top 4 will enter the upper bracket of the playoffs, and the participants who finished in 5-6th place will be able to count on the lower bracket. Organizations that take places from 7th to 9th will leave The Lima Major 2023.

Recall that The Lima Major 2023 will be held from February 22 to March 5 this year in Lima, Peru. The venue will be Arena 1. 18 teams will compete for a prize pool of $500,000 and 1,900 DPC points required to get to The International 2023. The champion, in addition to the winner's cup, will earn the main prize of $200,000 and 400 DPC points.
