Results of DPC SA 2023 Tour 1: Division I: successful debut of Evil Geniuses in a new region
Maksym ShylovThe long series of tiebreakers in the first division of the DPC in South America has come to an end. The teams decided which of them would take places from 3rd to 6th. Alliance.LATAM took three wins in bo1 matches against Keyd Stars, Thunder Awaken and Infinity. Earlier we wrote about the results of the DPC season in Eastern Europe .
The leading places in the region were taken by beastcoast, the club finished with 7-0 statistics, as well as Evil Geniuses. At the end of the previous season, the management of the organization decided to change the region and moved from North America to South America, signing promising and already famous players. And the debut was a success. Evil Geniuses lost only to the aforementioned beastcoast.
Worst of all were Ravens and Infamous. One and two victories, respectively, did not help to stay in the first division. Both organizations are relegated and will continue the season in the South American Second Division.

- 3rd - Alliance.LATAM - $27,000 - 120 DPC points - Division I slot
- 4th - Keyd Stars - $26,000 - 60 DPC points - Division I slot
- 5th - Thunder Awaken - $25,000 - 30 DPC points - Division I slot
- 6th - Infinity - $24,000 - Division I slot
- 7th - Ravens - $23,000 - Division II slot
- 8th - Infamous - $22,000 - Division II slot
We remind you that DPC SA 2023 Tour 1: Division I was held from February 10 to 31, 2023 in an online format. The top 8 South Americans competed for a $205,000 prize pool, 690 DPC points and slots at the Winter Major. The winner was the beastcoast team, which received the main prize of $30,000, 300 DPC points and a ticket to 4D Esports Lima Dota Major 2023.
