Anthony Hodgson, better known as Scantzor, a former coach of teams such as Entity and Mineski, shared his opinion and information about the upcoming TI 2022. According to him, many well-known commentators who previously participated in covering the main event of the entire discipline directly from the scene, this time will stay at home.

In previous years, commentary for the group stage and LCQ was done on-site and featured talent from all over the world. According to Scantzor, TI 2022 will be different. Most commentators will be covering the qualifiers and LCQ from home, which will reduce the cost of running them.

In addition, there is unconfirmed information that Valve is creating a separate location in Stockholm, where many commentators will be invited, and from where they will review upcoming matches.

As Anthony himself noted, the matter will concern only the group stage and the “Last Chance”, while commenting on the playoff stage will take place as usual.
