iNSaNiA from Team Liquid may miss ESL One Malaysia 2022

The captain of Team LiquidiNSaNiA announced on his twitter account that he risks missing the next major championship ESL One Malaysia 2022. The reason is that a backpack with things and a passport was stolen from him, and the player himself cannot leave the United States.

I'm so EVIL. My backpack was stolen with all my belongings and my passport. Currently stuck in the US trying to work with the embassy to get into ESL Malaysia but there seems to be little chance. So sorry to all the fans who wanted to meet me.

We are waiting for an official response on this situation from the Liquid club. The fans, in turn, began to speculate about who could replace the captain and suggested JerAx as a stand-in for this role.

As a reminder, ESL One will take place from August 23 to 28 in Malaysia, where 12 participants will share a prize pool of $400,000. Six teams received direct invitations from the organizers, and the same number got to the event through regional qualifiers. It is worth noting that the tournament is not included in the rating system from Valve, so points will not be played.

Do not forget that in addition to Team Liquid, several teams will also come to the competition with a replacement, so OG has already been informed about the skipping of the event from the captain represented by Mikhail "Misha" Agatov, and the current coach Evgeny "Chuvash" Makarov will take his place. In turn, Alliance also announced one replacement due to visa problems.
