Rumor: The International 2022 Battle Pass Coming September 1st

According to the Pastebin platform, Valve may release a battle pass for The International 2022 in early September. At present, the information has not been confirmed by the official side. According to the leaked files, the following dates are mentioned for the appearance of the battle pass in Dota 2: September 1-30 and September 1 - October 31.

It is reported that the battle pass will be divided into two parts: the first will be dedicated to The International 2022, and the second will be dedicated to a special in-game event. In the second part of the compendium, Immortal items should appear, they allegedly cannot be exchanged or sold until January 2023, but there is a one-time gift function.

As before, a certain percentage of the proceeds from sales of the Battle Pass will go towards The International 2022 prize pool.

Recall that earlier Valve postponed the release of the battle pass indefinitely. According to rumors, the compendium may be released after the premiere of the third season of the anime series DOTA: Dragon's Blood.

The main part of The International 2022 will take place from 15 to 30 October in Singapore at the Indoor Stadium and Suntec Arena. This championship is reported to be the largest in Dota 2 history as 30 teams from all over the world will take part in it.

Currently, the names of four participants of the event are known - PSG.LGD, OG, TSM and Thunder Awaken.

The first stage of The International 11, which is called the last chance, will take place from 8 to 12 October. Then, from 15 to 18 October, 20 teams will take part in the group stage.
