Rumors: DPC 2021/2022 Tour II in Eastern Europe will start on April 27

Due to the invasion of the Russian Federation on the territory of Ukraine on February 24, 2022, all major tournaments in leading disciplines were canceled in Eastern Europe, in particular DPC 2021/2022 Tour II. The fate of the second round of DPC 2021/2022: Eastern Europe has not yet been decided, but there are suspicions that the tournament will still take place.

As it became known from a public document that surfaced on the Leniniw stream, the second DPC cycle from Eastern Europe starts on April 27th. The championship will have a modified format, namely: no group stage, several match days and start from the playoff stage.

A potential schedule looks like this:

  • Spirit - BetBoom (April 27, 13:00 CET);
  • NaVi - ex-HellRaisers (April 27, 16:00 CET);
  • Virtus.pro - CIS Rejects (April 27, 19:00 CET);
  • PuckChamp - Mind Games (April 28, 4pm CET).

Recall that the authenticity of the document is not confirmed, and therefore the information can change at any time. According to preliminary data, Beyond The Summit will take care of the organization, and Maincast will comment on the tournament matches in Russian. From Eastern Europe, 3 teams will play at the Stockholm Major.
