Virtus.pro removed from GAMERS GALAXY: Invitational Series Dubai 2022

The Russian esports organization Virtus.pro has announced that the club's Dota 2 roster will not take part in the GAMERS GALAXY: Invitational Series Dubai 2022. The organizers have not made an official statement, but have already published an updated schedule that does not include Virtus.pro matches.

In turn, Virtus.pro spoke about the removal of the team from the tournament:

We are still waiting for the official position of the organizers regarding this absolutely unacceptable situation that violates all the basic principles of eSports. All we were told (after being removed from the schedule) that we would not play. We are currently discussing the departure time with the team.

Recall that on the eve of the organization Virtus.pro announced blackmail by the organizers of the championship. The reason for the contention was the lack of an official position of the club regarding the military conflict in Ukraine. Later, Xakoda support announced the team's withdrawal from the tournament, but after a while deleted the post.
