At the Gamers8 tournament, the team debuted against Falcons. Overall, the match ended as expected, although the French team put up a fight, especially on the first map (Mirage — 22:18 in favor of Heroic). The second map was won by Heroic 16:10.
In their previous match, Heroic faced GamerLegion. Despite GL not looking very threatening, they managed to "stress out" the Danes and even took a map, but still lost in the end.
Heroic ended their Gamers8 run with a match against ENCE. The Danish club once again couldn’t beat the Finns and left the major at the top-4 stage.
In the 2024 season, Heroic faced many challenges and didn’t start the year as well as the previous one. They still attended top tournaments, but the results were slightly worse: top 16 at BLAST Premier: Spring Groups 2024, top 8 at IEM Chengdu 2024, top 28 at ESL Pro League Season 9, top 6 at IEM Dallas 2024, and top 8 at YaLLa Compass 2024. The series of championship appearances continued: Heroic played at BLAST Premier: Fall Groups 2024 (top 12), IEM Cologne 2024 (top 20), and BLAST Premier: Fall Showdown 2024 (top 16). In October 2024, Heroic were close to winning a title, reaching the final of Elisa Masters Espoo 2024, but lost to ENCE in the grand final.
In the Elimination Stage at the Perfect World Shanghai Major 2024, Heroic defeated BIG and FaZe, going 2-0. In the match for playoff qualification, Heroic lost to MongolZ, then to Spirit. However, they managed to reach the main stage of the tournament after defeating the reigning world champions — NaVi. But in their first playoff match, Heroic lost to G2, who knocked them out of the championship race.
The 2025 season began for HEROIC with qualifiers and several S-tier tournament appearances. At BLAST Bounty Spring 2025, they finished in the top 8. Then came IEM Katowice 2025, where the result was even worse — the team finished in the top 20.
HEROIC performed best this year at A-tier tournaments, winning CCT Season 2 Global Finals and MESA Nomadic Masters Spring 2025.

Complexity Gaming form. What result can be expected from Complexity Gaming
We continue the analysis of the HEROIC vs Complexity Gaming match by analyzing Complexity Gaming form. Complexity is one of the strongest North American teams and very often wins local leagues. On the professional level, the team is also well-known and almost always participates in Tier-1 level tournaments.

Next, the team showed an average performance at EPL S18. The team won against 9INE and Cloud9. However, they didn’t stay long in the playoffs. CoL went straight into the second round of the main stage, but there they lost to Monte with a score of 1:2, finishing in the top 12.
Before participating in IEM Sydney 2023 Long Convergence, Monte gained form thanks to a victory at American Blast, defeating Team Liquid in the grand final of the qualifier with a score of 2:0 and earning a ticket to the autumn finals.
IEM Sydney 2023 can also be considered a positive result for CoL. The team defeated Monte in the first match, but in the second lost to G2 Esports and dropped to the lower bracket. After the loss to G2 in the group stage, Complexity seemed to go off the chain — the team gained momentum and went on a winning streak: first 2:1 against Cloud9, then a confident 2:0 against Monte, and reached the playoffs. In the main stage of IEM Sydney 2023, CoL crushed BB Team (2:0) in the first round, and in the semifinals took revenge on G2 Esports, knocking the team out of the tournament with a 2:0 score.
In the final, Complexity lost to FaZe with a score of 1:2 and took 2nd place in the tournament.
The next good tournament for Complexity Gaming was BLAST Premier: Fall Finals 2023. There the team again earned several important victories and finished in 3rd-4th place.
The 2024 season started with a victory at PGL Major Copenhagen 2024: North American Qualifier, but then came a failure — at BLAST Premier: Spring Groups 2024, the Americans placed only top 16. They also played at PGL Major Copenhagen 2024, where they finished in the top 11.
Before participating in IEM Dallas 2024, CoL played at ESL Pro League Season 19, where they reached the top 4. At IEM Dallas 2024 they made it to the top 16, then reached the top 8 at YaLLa Compass 2024 and won ESL Challengers at DreamHack Summer 2024.
They also took part in ESports World Cup 2024 but failed to pass the Opening Stage. At ESL Pro League S20 the team played average. Despite wins over Astralis, MOUZ, and FaZe, Complexity placed 9-12.
After the inspiring ESL Pro League S20, CoL played at IEM Rio 2024, where they finished in the top 12.
They qualified for PW Shanghai Major 2024 thanks to a top 3-5 finish at American RMR (3-1 result).
The Chinese Major cannot be called successful for CoL. The team started with a loss to FlyQuest, which was the main sensation of the first round, and then lost to Passion UA. However, they managed to pull themselves together and earned two clean wins over Imperial and C9. In the elimination match they lost to BIG with a score of 2:3 and finished in 17th-19th place.
The 2025 season is going quite well for Complexity Gaming. The team took 4th place at PGL Bucharest 2025 and 5th-8th place at FISSURE Playground #1.
