Second place went to Santino 'try' Rigal of the acclaimed Brazilian 9z Team, which sent Team Vitality to watch the championship as a spectator. BLAST Premier Spring Showdown 2021 started on April 13 and ended on the 18th. Its total prize pool was $ 162,500, and the winners of the event were G2 Esports and Gambit Esports. The teams took $ 30,000 each, 1,500 rating points and an invitation to BLAST Premier Spring Finals 2021 with a prize pool of $ 425,000.
