Many esports clubs have been hit by the coronavirus pandemic and BLAST has decided to change the prize pool for the upcoming championships. Although the size of the awards has been reduced, the amount that will be issued to support for participating in the tournament will increase.

The partner clubs in council with BLAST gave their consent and also considered the idea to be a good one. According to Robbie Dweck, CEO of BLAST, such a move can protect the ecosystem of the BLAST series participants and even influence and significantly improve it.

BLAST Premier Fall Series 2020 will be the next series of upcoming championships. The matches of the European division will be held from 23 to 25 October, and the confrontation in America will begin on 29 October and end on 4 November.
