Falcons defeat TYLOO and keep their playoff hopes alive at BLAST Open Rotterdam 2026

Falcons secured a convincing victory over TYLOO in the elimination match at BLAST Open Rotterdam 2026, keeping their chances of reaching the playoffs alive and taking another step toward the decisive stage of the tournament. Despite a close battle on the opening map, the European side quickly took control and gave their opponents no chance on the following maps.

  3. TYLOO picked Inferno
  4. Falcons picked Ancient
  5. TYLOO removed Anubis
  6. Falcons removed Nuke
  7. Mirage was left over

Inferno (16:14 TYLOO)

On their map pick, TYLOO started on the T side and managed to secure a two-round lead. In the second half, Falcons responded with a strong T side of their own and reached map point. However, TYLOO won the last three rounds and secured the victory in overtime.

Ancient (13:1 Falcons)

On Ancient, the Chinese squad looked completely absent. The first half ended in total control for Falcons with an 11:1 scoreline. After the side switch, the game didn’t last long, as Falcons comfortably closed the map 13:1.

Mirage (13:2 Falcons)

The decider Mirage once again was fully controlled by Falcons. In the first half, they dominated on the T side, conceding only one round. After switching sides, the situation remained unchanged, and Falcons confidently closed out the map 13:2.

The best player of the match was NiKo from Falcons, who finished the series with a 1.43 rating.

Falcons will now play a decisive match against the winner of FURIA vs NRG for a spot in the playoffs. TYLOO finish their run in 9th–12th place, earning $7,500 for the team and $25,000 for the organization. BLAST Open Rotterdam 2026 takes place from March 18 to March 29, featuring 16 teams competing for the championship trophy and a $250,000 prize pool.
